about this project

Charterhouse, a former Victorian warehouse owned by Lord Sugar’s privately owned Real Estate vehicle Amsprop, has been refurbished to retain its industrial history with exposed ceilings, steel columns and brick walls. Each floor is served by a Panasonic heat recovery VRF air conditioning system, which provides simultaneous heating and cooling to each of the 9 ducted fan coil units. 6 VRF outdoor units are positioned at roof level. Fresh air is introduced to each floor via a Panasonic heat recovery ventilation system which is linked to operate seamlessly with the VRF air conditioning equipment.

With an exposed ceiling, it was imperative that all mechanical and electrical services were coordinated prior to any works commencing. Once on site, all trades worked alongside each other to ensure an installation of the highest quality.

Each system has been provided with both local and centralised controllers, allowing the client to let the property on a floor by floor basis.
